Attention all Community Service and Service-Learning Administrators and Faculty!

  • Do you wish you had a ?Training Toolkit? to help you develop student leadership?
  • Do you have training scenarios and workshops you?d like to share?
  • Do you want to reward students who commit significant hours of service to their communities?

    Then come to the Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania Student Leadership Development Institute!

    The Scholars in Service Student Leadership Development Institute will bring together community service and service-learning professionals from across the state. The Institute is designed to focus on building skills and techniques for volunteer training, group facilitation, and student development.

    Additionally, PennSERVE, PA Campus Compact, and PHENND were just awarded an AmeriCorps Education Award Only program, ?Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania.? This means that we will be distributing 250 AmeriCorps Education awards across the state. These awards (valued at over $2300) are for students who serve 900 hours over the course of two years. Come to this Institute to find out how your campus can participate in this program.
