Strengths-based Family Worker Instructor Academy, Aug. 12-15
Posted by Temple University on May 21, 2019
Please join us in Harrisburg! This training series will be held August 12 – 15, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Temple University Harrisburg.
The SFW Instructor Academy certifies participants as Instructors of the Credential for Strengths-based Family Worker (SFW) course. The Instructor Academy is a comprehensive 4-day training that provides an overview of the SFW curriculum in addition to providing the valuable skills needed to facilitate the 80-hour SFW course. Upon obtaining certification, the SFW Instructor will provide family workers with a competency-based curriculum that supports direct service workers in building their skills to help families set and reach their own goals. If your agency is interested in becoming an SFW Approved Provider, or if you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
