STRENGTHENING MULTI-ETHNIC FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES: A Violence Prevention Parent Training Program — FREE PROGRAM

12 Week Program to begin in September. Will be held on Tuesday evenings: 6:30-8:30pm
This is a program for parents with children between 3 and 18 years of age.
It presents parenting information within a cultural framework. Addresses parenting from a variety of perspectives:
Cultural/Spiritual Roots
Enhancing Relationships
Positive Discipline
Rites of Passage and Community Involvement
The Program includes Developmental Information; Anger Management & Problem Solving. Addresses Family & Community Violence (drugs, suicide, crime, child abuse & domestic violence).
PROGRAM IS OPEN TO PARENTS FROM ALL SECTIONS OF PHILADELPHIA.
The Program will be offered in September 2002, January 2003 & April 2003.
