This event is free of charge and open to the public! It is co-sponsored by FNG’s Community Learning Center and West Philadelphia-based Scribe Video Center. It will feature a collection of short films from the Scribe’s Street Movies! series (now in their 10th year). Refreshments will be available.
Our variety of videos include animation, spoken word, experimental, and documentary. A highlight will be the film “A Community in Transition” by the Friends Neighborhood Guild, part of the “Precious Places” series by Scribe.
This event is for:All are welcome; this is a family-friendly event.
Directions:
Take SEPTA: the 47 bus runs north, from Center City, along 7th Street and south, from North Philly, along 8th Street. Hop off when you get to Fairmount Street (a few blocks north of Spring Garden).
