StoryCorps and Journey’s Way record life stories
Journey’s Way is partnering with StoryCorps to help create family legacies.
StoryCorps is a national oral history project which has been recording life story interviews by everyday people since 2003. Each conversation is recorded on a free CD to keep, and with participant consent, is archived for future generations at the Library of Congress.
If there are people you love who are experiencing memory changes, one way to honor and celebrate their lives is to listen to their stories. StoryCorps interview sessions will take place at Journey’s Way, 6012 Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia, from December 1st-7th.
For more information, to schedule an interview or to volunteer to assist in the project, call Lauriann Foster-Page, Adult Day Services Director at 215-487-1750.
