State offers stimulus funds to improve victim services

Approximately $4 million in federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding is available to support and strengthen services to women who are victims of violent crime, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has announced.

The STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program also works to improve the criminal and juvenile justice systems’ response to violence against women.

Interested applicants, including domestic violence and sexual assault programs, state
