Stoneleigh seeks junior fellows
Stoneleigh Center, a Philadelphia foundation dedicated to vulnerable children and youth, is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 Stoneleigh Junior Fellowship Program.
This program provides an opportunity for exceptional graduates to work in the public or non-profit sectors in the greater Philadelphia area. Successful applicants are linked with a participating organization to work on a project or conduct research. The fellow will assist the organization by providing an opportunity to develop policy or research initiatives that would enhance the organization’s current operations. Participating organizations are dedicated to serving vulnerable children and youth and focus on issues close to Stoneleigh Center’s mission: child welfare, education, juvenile justice and behavioral health.
The program is open to recently graduated undergraduate and graduate students. The one-year fellowship begins on July 1, 2009. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Descriptions of the projects available for this fellowship term and an application are available here. Interested applicants should download and submit an application to the contact person listed for each project no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008. Email questions or requests for additional information here or call 215-735-7080.
