Conversations toward a Sustainable Philadelphia
A series of talks hosted by the Sustainable Business Network and partners
SBN, Judy Wicks, and a growing list of collaborators invite you to join us for “Conversations toward a Sustainable Philadelphia,” a series of talks intended to spark thought, discussion, and local action in addressing climate change and environmental justice.
Steps toward a No-Carbon House
Tuesday, April 5, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Trinity Memorial Church, 22nd and Spruce, Philadelphia
Sponsored by Sustainable Business Network, Solar States, and The Energy Co-op
We all want to be part of the solution by reducing carbons, but where do we begin? This panel will walk us through the steps of making our homes and businesses energy efficient, signing up for renewable electricity on our PECO accounts, and going a step further by installing solar on our rooftops. Judy Wicks will share her own story of moving her home toward no-carbon, along with a panel of experts:
- Micah Gold-Markel, Solar States
- Glenn Smith, Executive Director of The Energy Co-op
- Mitchell Swann, PE, board member of the Philadelphia Energy Authority, and a Partner at MDC Systems
Beer and snacks will be served.
Please RSVP
