STEPPINGSTONE SCHOLARS IS HIRING!

-McMichael School- 3543 Fairmont Ave
– Bethune School-3301 Old York Rd

Available Role & Time Commitment: Steppingstone is looking for a school-based Fellow. Fellow responsibilities include teaching small group math classes, coordinating one-on-one mentoring of 8th grade students through the high school selection process and/or leading clubs in the after school program. The school-based Fellows are part of the Steppingstone school leadership team.

Start Date: August 26, 2019

The math Scholars program and high school mentorship program take place during the school day. Exact times and days are based on school needs and candidate availability. The after-school program runs daily from 2:45 PM – 5:15 PM. Ideal candidates would be available minimum two times a week in afterschool and three times a week during the school day.

Compensation: $15- $25 an hour, maximum 14 hours per week.

About Steppingstone: Steppingstone Scholars works with families and school partners to provide rigorous educational programming and support for talented underserved students in the Philadelphia region to achieve academic success. One of Steppingstone’s major programs, Middle Grades Academy (MGA), is seeking undergraduate and graduate students to help provide academic enrichment to neighborhood public K-8 schools in North and West Philadelphia
