STEAM Professionals Needed: All Things STEAM Mapping Career Day – Apr 22

We are looking for professionals who are within the STEAM profession to come and support Congreso STEAM Tour After School Program with our first Earth Day for “All Things STEAM Mapping Career Day” in recognition of Earth Day. We hope to provide our OST youth with an interactive day connecting and interacting with various STEAM professionals as they step into the reality of experiencing what it would be like if they chose a career in STEAM industries.

We need STEAM professionals to commit to hosting a table of their profession with tools that can be used to engage and interact with about 150 to 200 Congreso After school youth on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2pm for set up, commence at 3pm and at 5pm conclude.  The event will take place at 2800 N. American Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120.

We want to provide opportunities through tabletop exhibit workshop experiences for personal growth and lifestyle change; leadership development; and fostering respect of self, and others while being exposed to different types of Careers as we endeavor to present the world as a classroom.  The goal of the program is to expose students to various areas of STEAM and link them up to professionals in those areas.

We are looking for 40 STEAM exhibitors.
