JOB SUMMARY:
This position is located in the Pennsylvania State Office within the Office of Field Liaison, Department of the Chief of Program Operations, Corporation for National and Community Service (Corporation), Philadelphia, PA.
DUTIES:
The incumbent will manage a portfolio of AmeriCorps*VISTA and Senior Corps projects for the state of Pennsylvania, and will be an active participant in furthering the mission and goals of the Corporation. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting current and potential program partners with planning, designing, and submitting grant applications for Corporation support that are consistent with Corporation guidance;
- Assuring that portfolio records are well organized and compliant with office requirements;
- Annually reviews, promotes and implements Corporation program guidance and directives with grantees, sponsors and key partners;
- Recording project status activities in the project management systems (eGrants and eSpans);
- Reviewing and evaluating project operations, including on-site monitoring and progress report review and feedback;
- Providing support to various training programs associated with AmeriCorps*VISTA and Senior Corps project management;
- Assisting with promoting national service programs and activities to public and private sector entities;
- Leveraging non-Corporation resources through the AmeriCorps*VISTA cost-share program, and assisting Senior Corps grantees in securing non-Federal resources; and,
- Assisting with a variety of administrative requirements.
