State of Young Philly: Volunteer Orientation and Flyering Event, Oct. 19
Posted by Young Involved Philadelphia on October 15, 2019
In its 10th year, Young Involved Philadelphia’s State of Young Philly (SOYP) is an annual fall event series that brings together dozens of organizations and thousands of young professionals, elected officials, organizational leaders, and millennials to represent, engage, and connect. The theme of this year’s SOYP – which takes place from November 1st through November 10th – is “Love thy neighborhood. Know thy neighborhood.”
Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) is hosting a volunteer orientation on October 19th for folks to learn more about the mission and history of YIP and sign up for volunteering opportunities with the event series. After the hour orientation, we will be sending volunteers out into Philly neighborhoods to flyer and spread the news about SOYP! YIP will pay for the group’s transport (Lyft or Uber) into the neighborhoods and your return trip back to Center City.
