THE EXCITEMENT’S BEEN MOUNTING!
This year’s State of Young Philly is September 27th-October 13th
SOYP is an annual two-week event series, which brings together and leverages the voice of young Philadelphia. SOYP is supported by more than 50+ organizations throughout the region and more than1,000 young professionals, city officials, and organizational leaders are expected to participate.
This year’s series will build on previous year’s efforts by turning ideas into tangible outcomes in a few key topic area tracks: Education, Sustainability, and Economy

State of Young Philly (SOYP) Opening Reception
WHEN: Thursday, September 27th
WHERE: Kimmel Center’s Innovation Studio, Broad & Locust Sts
TIME: 5:30-8PM
This high-energy event will feature the work of 25 innovative non-profit, governmental and advocacy groups in Philadelphia.
And it gets better! The Kimmel Center will be our home base for SOYP this year! Most of our events will happen here this year and will be a pop-up civic space of sorts.
Save the Date: Final Showcase & Celebration – Saturday, October 13, 5PM
This event will provide an opportunity to network with hundreds of other young professionals and over 50 partnering organizations and hear the winners of the project competition.
