State of the City: Greenworks at Age Two
Featuring: Katherine Gajewski, Director of Sustainability, City of Philadelphia; TBA: Organizations and individuals representing progress in each of the 15 target areas
Greenworks Philadelphia was released in spring of 2009 and presented its first Progress Report in 2010. Based on 15 sustainability target areas in the areas of energy, environment, equity, economy, and engagement, the plan has enabled the city of Philadelphia to make great strides in achieving the Mayor’s ambitious goal of being “the greenest city in America” by 2015.
