The State of Children’s Health Care in PA
A statewide report issued last week by Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children reports that some, but not much, progress has been made insuring Pennsylvania’s children. The study indicates the number of children without some form of insurance – public or private – declined from 5.5 percent to 5.3 percent during the past year, with the total number of uninsured children dropping from 153,307 in 2012 to 147,683 in 2013.
