ASAP to ‘Spring into Scrabble’ at March event
After School Activities Partnerships has announced its first Family Scrabble day, Spring into Scrabble on Saturday, March 17th from 1:30-4:30pm, at the Drexel Bossone Center, second floor, 3120 Market Street.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature competition, raffles, prizes, and crafts for players of all ages and skill levels.
The event will also feature a “tips corner” from ASAP’s resident Scrabble expert, professional Scrabble player John Green, as well as free play with other word-related games and Scrabble variants like Boggle, bananagrams, and Scrabble Flash and Slam.
School Scrabble clubs throughout Philadelphia will attend, and participate in a life-sized word-scramble competition in teams of 5 throughout the day. Registration is required by emailing Marshall Bright at [email protected] or calling 215-545-2727 ex 12.
