Spread the Word and/or Nominate a Student: STEM Educator Career Exploration Fair & PRISE Student Stem Educator Awards – Mar 18
Posted by The Philadelphia Regional Institute for STEM Educators on February 21, 2023
Do you know High School students who seem to have a knack for teaching – they like explaining things to their classmates and friends and helping others? For such students who are also interested in STEM, we would like to invite them to attend our (free) STEM Educator Career Exploration Fair on Saturday, March 18, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Temple University’s SERC building. Could you please share this information with your students and encourage them to attend? They might never have realized that the skills they have and activities they enjoy doing could align with being an educator.
More information about the Fair and registration can be found here. Questions? Contact Dorianna Estes at [email protected].
If you have students who have already engaged in some form of STEM teaching activity (ex. class assistant, teaching/mentoring in an after-school or summer program), please consider nominating them for the PRISE Student STEM Educator Awards which will be presented at the Fair.
