Spotlight Series on Community Schools
Posted by Mayor's Office of Black Male Engagement on July 19, 2022
The Spotlight Guide is a magazine based on the Spotlight Series, an interview series produced by the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Engagement (OBME) which strives to showcase and raise the visibility of positive Black men in Philadelphia.
The series hosts conversations with successful Black men from a variety of professional backgrounds such as government, business, educational institutions, health care systems, labor organizations, civic organizations, and nonprofits. Through sharing these stories, OBME hopes to show young Black males their own potential and broaden and deepen the dimensions in which Black men and boys are perceived.
