Spirituality, Social Justice and Service-Learning – Conference announcement and call for papers.
This third bi-annual conference will be held at Messiah College near Harrisburg, PA, June 3 to 5, 2004. Guest speakers include Paul Loeb, Barbara Jacoby, and Jennifer Lindholm. Conference participants are invited to submit proposals for papers on conceptual topics related to the theme, descriptions of model programs or other topics related to service-learning and civic engagement. (Deadline March 1, 2004) Faculty, administrators, co-curricular educators, service-center staff and community partners from a broad range of colleges and universities will want to attend. Because of a grant from the Lilly Endowment, the registration fee of $100 includes meals and lodging in air conditioned single dormitory rooms.
