Dear Social Change Activist:
On behalf of the staff of the SPIN Project, we warmly welcome you to the SPIN Academy! We’re very pleased that you’ll be with us at what promises to be an exciting and important training for grassroots activists.
It is an honor and a pleasure to work with you to enhance your media skills and grow the capacity of your organizations to engage the media more effectively. We see you as not only media activists, but also as leaders in your communities, fighting on the front lines for issues and people we care about. Ultimately it is the progressive movement as a whole that will benefit from this SPIN Academy – as policy is championed, voice is given to the silenced, and we create real change in our society to the benefit of those who are marginalized or invisible.
