PEC leaders debate educational outcomes
The Emerging Leaders of People’s Emergency Center will sponsor Sounding the Horn: A Crossfire Discussion on Educational Outcomes on Wednesday October 16th from 6pm – 8:30pm at The Comcast Center, 45th Floor, 1701 JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia.
The event will discuss issues such as how society defines a quality education, how to duplicate successful educational models, and how to make sure that children are being equipped to compete on a global level.
Modeled after the rapid fire pace of ESPN’s ‘Around the Horn’, five prominent Philadelphia thought leaders will have only two minutes to respond to these questions, and more. After each round, attendees will vote as to whom they believe offered the best response.
The discussion will be followed by a cocktail hour and networking reception. All proceeds from the event will go to support People’s Emergency Center.
Tickets are $35. To register, visit here.
