Social Venture Institute Philadelphia 2003
Social Venture Institute 2003 takes place in Philadelphia, November 5 – 7. Social Venture Institute’s goal is to strengthen local, sustainably-oriented businesses in concrete ways. Social Venture Institute (SVI) provides a combination of access to successful business mentors, a confidential, down-to-earth, supportive environment, and a practical problem-solving format to ensure that leaders of small to medium size businesses leave with a rich portfolio of ideas, and a plan to take next-steps to build their local, socially responsible businesses.
The program has proven to reach out to urban and minority entrepreneurs and has resulted in long term mentoring relationships and business partnerships. Last year 125 participants in our first multi-day SVI Philadelphia left with practical tools and a network of contacts to support their efforts to build and maintain successful businesses.
