Social Media Workshop for Nonprofits
Posted by on November 2, 2009
Workshop focuses on social media
On Wednesday, November 18th, the Young Women’s Initiative of Women’s Way and Philadelphia Young Nonprofit Leaders will co-present a free social media workshop for employees and volunteers of nonprofits.
The mid-day brown-bag workshop will provide an overview of popular social media tactics such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
Participants will learn how some nonprofit organizations have used these tools successfully with limited resources. Practical advice on how to leverage existing content and the importance of an overall social media strategy also will be provided.
