Posted by Social Innovations Lab on February 5, 2018
The Social Innovations Lab 2018 Lab will operate from March 19th – March 23rd at IBX Innovation Center located at 1700 Market Street. The Social Innovations Lab takes participants through a process of innovation which transforms social entrepreneurs into smarter, sharper, and better versions of themselves. The journey is an intensive, sustainable process in which innovators are invited to explore their ideas, test them, and adapt them for better outcomes. This process hones entrepreneurial and innovative thinking skills while developing, and eventually executing, new and improved social enterprises. Participants will be taken through five stages that include: Idea Formation and Exploration; Design Thinking and Rapid Prototyping; Financial Modeling and Raising Start-Up Capital; Scaling and Scaling Impact & System and Policy Influence; and Execution Strategy.
Completion of the five stages within Social Innovations Lab will lead to the creation of a Business Plan Narrative and Pitch Deck for each participant.
SELECT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PITCH AND NETWORK WITH SOCIAL IMPACT INVESTORS.
SELECT SOCIAL ENTERPRISES WILL BE INCLUDED IN AN ANNUAL SOCIAL RETURN ON MISSION INVESTMENT GUIDE DISTRIBUTED TO SOCIAL IMPACT INVESTORS.
Applicants, assuming criteria are met, will be accepted on a first come first serve basis until the Lab is full (Limited to 20 Participants)
