Social Change Leaders 2007
For the fourth year, Greater Philadelphia Cares will run a unique grassroots leadership program. Social Change Leaders nurtures compassionate, energetic, yet unseasoned people into effective leaders; it embraces diverse individuals seeking opportunities to enhance their skills and connect with important resources to achieve progress on the issues most important to them. This eight session course will help participants acquire communications, public speaking and management skills; learn how to engage political decision makers; get help in seeking financial support for projects; and network with others who share a similar passion and commitment by working on small group projects.
