Social Action Course Development Workshop Track

The Bonner Foundation is hosting a day and a half course development workshop specifically for faculty interested in integrating social action into a new or existing course. This track will be led by Scott Myers-Lipton, professor of Sociology at San Jose State University and author of the recently published CHANGE! A Student Guide to Social Action.
The Social Action Course Development Workshop Track will begin the morning of Wednesday, June 6 and conclude at lunch on Thursday, June 7. You can view the draft agenda and register for the track here.

This workshop track will be a part of the Bonner Summer Leadership Institute, which begins the evening of Tuesday, June 5, and is part of the Bonner Foundation’s initiative to bring social action training to schools within and outside the Bonner Network. Registration is $175 per person and covers room and meals for the two nights (June 5 & 6) and days (June 6 & 7) at Wagner College. You are invited to the opening night on June 5 and are welcome to stay for the entire Summer Leadership Institute. Just indicate your arrival and departure dates on the registration form.
