Smart Energy Solutions Weatherization Manager, Energy Coordinating Agency

ECA provides a broad range of energy conservation, solar, energy education and heating services in the Philadelphia region. ECA is the LEED for Homes provider in Pennsylvania, provides HERS ratings for Energy Star Homes and other energy efficient residential construction. Through its program Smart Energy Solutions, ECA also provides energy audits and energy conservation services for existing homes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual as Smart Energy Solutions’ Weatherization Manager.

Qualifications:

* Strong supervisory and sales skills.
* Extensive construction and/or energy conservation experience; at least four years of field experience
* Previous business experience, with an emphasis on customer service
* Strong technical skills in building science, energy systems and diagnostics
* Good interpersonal skills
* Minimum of a B.A. degree, preferably in engineering, physics, or related field
* HERS Rater certification preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manages ECA’s fee-for-service weatherization sales activity including: energy conservation retrofits for residential and commercial customers and white roof coating.
* Coordinates field and office staff responsible for intake, scheduling, auditing, installation, customer education, and inspection. Identifies training needed.
* Oversees selection and administration of subcontracts as needed.
* Handles administrative and reporting duties
* Works closely with the SES Manager and other staff in planning.
* Plans and carries out a marketing strategy designed to sustain steady growth.
