Gearing Up’s Sixth Annual Pacesetter Celebration: Fundraiser & Cocktail Reception
The Pacesetter Celebration, now in its sixth year, is an annual fundraising event to support the work of Gearing Up, a non-profit organization that leads group bike rides with women in transition from addiction and/or incarceration throughout Philadelphia. Women riding with Gearing Up learn the skills to safely ride a bicycle for exercise, transportation, and fun, enhancing their confidence, independence, and physical, emotional, and social health.
The event, taking place on Tuesday, October 25 at the Arden Theatre, is open to the public. All are welcome to join for an evening of light fare, locally donated beer, wine, and cider, a silent and live auction, live music, and community. Tickets are required, and there are various ticket tiers available.
