Posted by on May 7, 2004
Service-learning is growing! Many people contact us looking for information to help them get started with service-learning in K-12 schools. To support beginning service-learning practitioners, the National Service-Learning Clearinghouse has carefully evaluated and chosen practical tools and presented them in an easy-to-use format as a “Service-Learning Starter Kit.”
The National Service-Learning Clearinghouse K-12 STARTER KIT has 25 highly recommended online and print materials for getting started in K-12 service-learning. These are practical resources, organized by the essential elements of a well-designed service-learning project or program:
*understanding
*planning
*funding
*partnering
*serving
*reflecting
*evaluating
