Service-Learning in Management** September 17-18, 2004** Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
This workshop for faculty in business management will be facilitated by Professor Laurie DiPadova-Stocks, founding director of the Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement at Northern Kentucky University and an originator of the Academy of Management Initiative for the Advancement of Civic Engagement and Service-Learning in management education, and John A. Miller, Christian R. Lindback Professor of Management at Bucknell University, whose Management 101 service-learning course has been adapted on more than 30 campuses. Co-sponsored by the Upper Midwest Campus Compact Consortium, the American Association for Higher Education, and the Carlson School of Management. Early bird registration deadline is August 17, 2004; the final deadline is September 7, 2004.
