Service-Learning and Home Safety Initiative
Grants from State Farm Insurance & State Farm Companies Foundation reward programs that engage students in service learning — school and/or community service activities that apply academic curricula and education standards — to raise public awareness about building codes and home disaster preparation, mitigation, response, and recovery. Maximum Award: $3,000-$5,000. Eligibility: Public schools K-12. Deadline: July 22, 2005.
