Service-Learning Action Plan
Posted by on August 13, 2012
August has arrived and many of us who work with youth are gearing up for back to school season. Whether you’re just beginning to plan projects for the year or you’ve already set up your classroom, there are several resources available to members of the Generator School Network to inform and inspire your lessons.
Here are a few to get you started:
1) Service-Learning Action Plan. This resource is great for educators or youth looking to get their initial ideas on paper, and will guide you through the process of a starting a service-learning project.

2) GSN Self-Assessment Guide. If you’ve completed a service-learning project last year, this is a great tool to help you refine and improve the quality of your service-learning practice.

3) More than 350 member projects. There are hundreds of member projects in the GSN to explore, many with supporting unit plans, pictures, and videos. Now with the updated search function, there is no need to recreate the wheel because you can find exactly what you need.
