Service-Learning 101 and 102 training

The National Service-Learning Exchange, Atlantic Region Center would like to
invite you to attend a service-learning training on June 27 and 28 at the Holiday Inn in Bensalem, PA (Northeast Philadelphia area).
Who should attend?
Teachers, school administrators, community based staff, and anyone interested in implementing service-learning in their curriculum or program.
Participants can either attend one or both of the following training modules:
Monday, June 27, 2005
Service-Learning 101 will include:
*Introduction to Service-Learning
*Understanding the Essential Elements of Service-Learning
*Simple Steps for Getting Started
Tuesday, June 28, 2005
Service-Learning 102 will include:
*Service-Learning Best Practices
*Making Reflection Meaningful
*Enhancing Curriculum Integration
*Practical Ideas for Assessment and Evaluation
Note: For those interested, PA ACT 48 and NJ Professional Development credit will be provided.
