According to the U.S. Census figures, 55 million of 197 million eligible voters did not register to vote in 2004. Of that figure, more than six million eligible voters said they did not vote in the November 2004 election because they missed their state’s voter registration deadline.
The deadline to register in Pennsylvania is Monday, October 6. As of Monday, August 25, more than 8.4 million Pennsylvanians were registered to vote in the General Election on November 4. Nearly 8.4 million of a possible 9.6 million Pennsylvanians were registered to vote prior to the 2004 General Election.
