September is Health Aging Month

Pennsylvania is the home to the third largest proportion of seniors in the country, many of whom are low-income. Below is a message from the American Dietetic Association announcing September as Healthy Aging month. The tools on this website and via this campaign may better help us to deliver nutrition and health education to our aging population.
September is Healthy Aging month
The Healthy Aging Campaign? has declared September to be Healthy Aging month. Healthy Aging Month? is an annual observance that focuses national attention on the positive aspects of growing older. Its primary goal is to encourage local level Healthy Aging? events. The organization?s website offers suggestions for hosting events in honor of Healthy Aging Month. ?
