Description: The Barnes Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for Community Engagement and Family Programs. The CEF Senior Program Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director of Community Engagement to design and implement a robust portfolio of creative arts programs for multi-generational audiences and diverse communities—to increase and enhance awareness, foster deep engagement, and support inclusive access to the Barnes Foundation. The CEF Senior Program Coordinator will provide operational support for CEF programs, as well as engage in quality program design, leadership and support needs for select grant-funded opportunities as assigned. The CEF Senior Coordinator is part of a team with both front-facing and back-end responsibilities on-site at the Barnes Foundation, in virtual remote spaces, and within communities of Philadelphia in partnership with community groups and public/private. This position is considered non-exempt (hourly) from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.
Programs include but are not limited to: Free First Sunday Family Days, Early Learning (Toddler Times and Stroller Tours), summer youth camps, community partner hubs (Puentes and Barnes West), Virtual Reality Project, and special projects for inter-generational and special needs audiences. The Barnes Community Engagement and Family Programs support diversity and inclusion of all audiences, with the belief that arts and cultural access enhances quality of life for all and elevates our society through creativity, worldview, and social discourse.
