BCT seeks a Senior Program Assistant to work within the BCT Programs and Research department. This department works with clients to promote the use of technology as a tool for community building and community development efforts. BCT’s clients include private foundations, government and corporations, such as the Ford Foundation, HUD and Hewlett Packard Company. For these clients, BCT often works directly with disadvantaged communities to implement innovative programs, assessments, capacity building strategies, and progressive research. A particular project that the Senior Program Assistant will dedicate 50% of his/her time to is the Neighborhood Networks initiative, a national network of technology centers located in affordable housing. This is a technical assistance and capacity building project that involves providing workshops and training to approximately 500 Neighborhood Networks centers across the country.
