Senior Learning and Instruction Manager, City Year
Posted by City Year Philadelphia on July 28, 2026
City Year’s dual mission is to expand educational opportunity for all students and develop the next generation of leaders through national service. Trained teams of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms and the whole school. Schools that partner with City Year are up to two to three times more likely to improve in English and math assessments, and the more time students spend with AmeriCorps members, the more they improve on academic, cognitive and interpersonal skills— skills that help students thrive in school, college and career.
The Senior Learning and Instruction Manager (SLIM) will work with the Learning and Instruction team to support Impact Department leadership in developing site learning strategy. The SLIM will oversee the successful execution of the AmeriCorps Volunteer (ACV) Learning and Development strategy by coordinating the scheduling and implementation of site learning activities. The Senior Learning and Instruction Manager (SLIM) will report to the Senior Director of Learning and Instruction (SDLI).
This is a year-round position, with a minimum of 4 days in-person at the office, Philadelphia and/or Norristown area schools, and Learning and Development Day (LDD) venues.
