TITLE: Senior Grant Professional
SUPERVISOR: Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Planning

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Senior Grant Professional actively participates in the design of new program concepts and works to secure funding for them, as well as continued funding for existing services.
– Externally, he or she works with collaborating agencies, government funders, and foundations.
– Internally, he or she works closely with program staff, leading, facilitating and participating in program development teams.

Responsibilities include:
– Researching concepts and best practices.
– Conducting market, industry and competitive intelligence research
– Identifying national and local government and foundation funding opportunities.
– Leading teams and facilitating the design of new or enhancement of existing programs and services.
– Preparing and submitting proposals and concept papers, including narratives and, with assistance, budgets.
– Initiating and assisting in grant report preparation
Qualifications:
– Five years experience in grant research, development and writing preferred.
– Bachelor degree required; graduate degree preferred.
– Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
– Creative thinker, independent worker, and self-starter with the drive to manage multiple projects and to create positive results.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
