Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships, City Year

City Year Philadelphia welcomes applications for the position of Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships (“Senior Corporate Partnerships Director”) and seeks a results- and team-oriented leader to assume this critical role. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Director partners with the Managing Director, Development, the Senior Major Gifts Director, the Senior Communications and External Relations Director, and the Events Director to form the Development Leadership Team, with an annual budget of $10.7 million, including $3.4 million from private sources. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Director collaborates with Site Leadership and the rest of the 8-person Development department to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporations and foundations.

Key elements of the role include a demonstrated ability with soliciting corporations and foundations to support private revenue goals, creating and implementing a community-centric development plan to build sustainable and engaged corporate partnerships, including our signature Team Sponsors and Program Sponsors, with a specific focus on growing our corporate donor base to raise increased resources and ultimately serve more students in Philadelphia. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Director will lead efforts to secure financial support from Philadelphia-area corporations and foundations, managing a Corporate Partnerships Manager to form the Corporate Partnerships team. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Director is also the primary liaison and will have the support of a regional grant writer, who is a development support to City Year Philadelphia and other City Year sites. The Senior Corporate Partnerships Director is also a member of the City Year Philadelphia Site Leadership Team, providing insight and input into the direction and cross-departmental collaboration of the site.
