Seeking Volunteers for the Philly School Fair – Sep 27 & 28

Posted by Elevate 215 on August 27, 2024

Help make the K-12 Philly School Fair a success. This massive event is scheduled for Friday, September 27th, and Saturday, September 28th, and we’re currently seeking dedicated volunteers to help us create an impactful experience for the families of Philadelphia.

Volunteer Roles: We have several volunteer roles available, but I want to highlight the Ambassador role as a key position that requires special attention. Ambassadors will act as liaisons between the fair organizers and the attending families, providing personalized assistance to ensure that families can navigate the event effectively and get the most out of their visit. Here’s the link to sign up!

 Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Greet families and provide a warm welcome as they enter the fair.
  • Offer tailored guidance on which schools or organizations might best meet their needs.
  • Assist with answering in-depth questions about the fair and directing families to specific resources.
  • Serve as a point of contact throughout the event to help families feel supported and informed.

Other Volunteer Opportunities: In addition to Ambassadors, we’re also looking for general volunteers who can help with various tasks, including setup, registration, and managing the flow of attendees.

How You Can Help:

  • Consider volunteering for one of the roles yourself, particularly as an Ambassador.
  • Share this opportunity with your network and encourage others to get involved, especially those who would excel as Ambassadors.

Volunteering at the Philly School Fair is a great way to be part of a meaningful event that directly impacts thousands of Philadelphia families.
