Secretary to the Board of Trustees and Strategic Planning Assistant to Executive Director

This position will serve as the secretary to the Board of Trustees at Project H.O.M.E. and staff all Trustee committees, preparing Board agenda and providing Board education. In addition this position will be responsible for working closely with the Executive Director of Project H.O.M.E. to ensure the successful implementation of the strategic plan including working with the reporting requirements, communication and implementation strategies. This position requires knowledge of various software technology, databases, and research skills. Strong organizational skills, computer skills and leadership skills are a must to be successful in this position. The chosen candidate will report to the Executive Director and work intensely with the Executive Management Team.
Qualified candidates must have:
A bachelors degree; masters degree preferred;
Multiple years of related experience;
A strong background in technology – including finding software solutions to assist in the implementation of Project H.O.M.E.’s Strategic Plan;
Great organizational skills;
Writing and researching skills;
Outstanding leadership skills;
The proven ability to work independently, a good problem solver and a self starter.
