SECOND NATIONAL HEALTHCARE DISPARITIES REPORT
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality recently released the second National Healthcare Disparities Report, building on the benchmark data released in last year’s inaugural report. The report examines quality of care for racial and ethnic minority groups, low-income Americans, and other vulnerable populations. The report highlights nine efforts that, over the past year, have moved the nation closer to this goal. http://www.ahrq.gov/news/press/pr2005/nhqdr04pr.htm
