SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON URBAN HEALTH
The conference aims to bring together scholars and professionals from various disciplines to address emerging issues in the study of the health of urban populations. Examples of speakers who are confirmed on the agenda include Trudy Harpham (talking about the health of Cities worldwide), Howard Frumkin (physical environment and health), Ezra Susser (mental health in cities), and Francesca Gany (migration and health of migrants). We encourage abstract submissions about all topics related to Urban Health, with particular interest in abstracts related to the urban physical environment, occupational health, ecommunity and economic development, public health strategies for healthy communities, urban violence, and transportation systems. In addition, we encourage abstract submissions by students. We are offering three prizes for the best student submissions. First prize–$200 Second prize–$100 Third prize-$50. The top 10 ranked students will be given free conference admission. (Student submissions should be clearly identified as such.)
