Seasonal Soup Making Workshop on March 6
Saturday, March 6th, 2 PM – ? 4 PM
Join the Fair Food Project and Michael Saidman and Sundya Ramachandran of Grass Roots Cafe as he teaches how to prepare delicious soups with seasonally available farm products. Saidman is the co-owner of Grass Roots Cafe located at 110 Cotton St. in Manayunk. From their meats, cheeses and organic produce straight from a Lancaster farm, to their soups and salads made entirely from scratch, Grass Roots is dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most natural ingredients available.
$30 includes workshop and a small donation to the Fair Food Project. Workshop will be held at the South Street Whole Foods in their community room. Space is limited. Call for Reservations. (215) 386-5211
