Science of Safety for Our Cities Conference

Please join us for a two-day conversation exploring issues of safety and violence facing under-resourced urban communities. The Science of Safety for Our Cities conference will consider emerging research, funding approaches, the roles of policy and urban design in violence & injury prevention, and the importance of partnerships to produce science with greater impact.

The Science of Safety for our Cities Conference takes place on Thursday and Friday, April 14-15, 2016. The conference includes scientific sessions, a film screening of “The Interrupters: Every City Needs it Heroes,” and a keynote lecture by the film’s producer Alex Kotlowitz.
