Science in the Summer Teacher PD – May 21

The Philadelphia Education Fund, in collaboration with Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center, is looking for up to 30 dedicated middle and high school educators to participate in a Science in the Summer workshop. Dr. Nancy Peter, Director of the McKinney Center for STEM Education, will lead an interactive session about summer science activities, field trip opportunities, outreach programs, and similar resources.
This FREE workshop will take place on Tuesday, May 21, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum: 8601 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19153. Eligible in-school educators will receive Act 48 credits and non-classroom educators will receive PQAS Credits.
Participants must be formal or informal educators in the Philadelphia area serving students in the 4th-12th grade. Registration is limited and will be be on a first come, first served basis. Register HERE.
