School, Training & Employment Resource Fair, Philadelphia Housing Authority – Aug 24

Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) Choice Neighborhood Initiatives (CNI) program’s “Dare 2 Prepare” is a back to school, training & employment resource fair that will be held on Thursday, August 24th 11am to 3pm at our Vaux Community Building located at 2400 Master Street in the Sharswood section of North Philadelphia.

This will be our second year hosting Dare 2 Prepare, and our primary goal is to provide book bags and schools supplies to neighborhood youth as they prepare to go back to school. This year we are adding a training & employment component to encourage and help adult residents advance their career opportunities through education and/or training programs. We are also inviting potential employers to attend in do recruitment for potential employees.
