How can closed school buildings be reimagined?
Join the Community Design Collaborative, community members, public agencies, and other professionals to see the results from a full-day design charrette to consider reuse options for closed public school buildings.
During the daylong design charrette, multidisciplinary teams of volunteer design professionals will collaborate with community members and other stakeholders on innovative designs for reuse of closed schools.
Join us at 4 pm, when teams will present their conceptual designs to a panel of experts for feedback.
A reception with food and beverage follows immediately after the end of the panel review.
The School Reuse Charrette is part of Design on the Delaware, AIA Philadelphia’s annual regional conference.
The charrette is funded in part with support from an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development.
Thank you to our early Charrette Sponsor!
