The 2012-13 season begins the 90th Anniversary of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards: nine decades of students, teachers and history…90 years of creativity.
Since 1923, the Awards have recognized the exceptional vision of our nation’s youth, and provided a singular opportunity for students to be noticed for their creative talents. Each year, increasing numbers of creative teens submit their work, and become a part of the Alliance’s community – young artists and writers, filmmakers and photographers, poets, sculptors and countless educators who support and encourage the creative process.
